Watch Blake Babies Play Their First Show In 15 Years

Blake Babies recently announced that they're releasing a collection of demos for their 1988 debut Earwig, and yesterday, they played the first of two private reunion shows planned for this summer as a part of the crowdfunding process. Watch some footage from last night's intimate performance in Boston below.

They played "Severed Lips"! Do you know how long I've been waiting to hear this particular cover of this particular song played in front of my face?! I haven't, because I didn't think it would ever happen. #blakebabies #boston #julianahatfield #johnstrohm #fredalovesmith #dinosaurjr #severedlips #rosyjackworld

"Lament," a song the band members say still resonates with them emotionally after all these years. This bridge still kills me. #blakebabies #julianahatfield #johnstrohm #fredalovesmith #boston #earwig #lament
