Washington, DC could be the American city with the richest punk rock history, and it's going through a serious revival lately, thanks to bands as wide-ranging as Flasher and Red Death. One of the city's present-day leading lights is Pure Disgust, the no-frills fast-as-fuck old-school hardcore band. Last year, the band released an absolutely ripshit EP called Chained, and they've been promising their self-titled debut album for a while now; we posted their song "Slander Me" last month. Today, the album arrived on Bandcamp, and it's an absolutely gorgeous display of early-'80s battering-ram intensity. Stream it below.
