Boxed In – “Forget”
London quartet Boxed In are steady in promo mode for their upcoming sophomore LP, Melt. They dropped the lead single “Jist” about a month ago and gave it a matching set of visuals two weeks later. Today, they share the follow-up “Forget.” It’s a highly danceable romp with whomping synths, heavy, punchy drums, and a little shaker for accent. Frontman Oli Bayston has the perfect repetitive hook on deck for you to shake your troubles off on the dance floor: “If you want to/If you want to forget/If you want to/ If you want to forget, I’ll let you.” Don’t mind if I do. Listen.
Melt is out 9/23 via Nettwerk Records.
