Outside of the Both, his power-pop project with Aimee Mann, it’s been a while since we’ve heard anything new from punk rock lifer and reliably fantastic tunesmith Ted Leo. But Leo recently contributed a new song to a split 7″ that’s coming out as part of indie label Spindown’s record club. We don’t know the title of Leo’s song yet, but it’s a sprightly and extremely catchy guitar-rocker. And on the B-side, the noisy goth-rock band Publicist UK have cranked out a prime piece of fuzzed-out gloom.
