A Tribe Called Quest may join their Native Tongues' brethren De La Soul and drop another album. As reported by DJBooth, Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid went on the Rap Radar podcast and revealed that ATCQ put the finishing touches on a new album before Phife Dawg's death. Here's what Reid said about the latest from ATCQ:

[It is] a brand new album that they recorded before Phife [Dawg] passed away. I’m really happy about it man, it’s really something special. It’s one of the things I’m most excited about over everything we’re working on.

Reid didn't indicate a release date, and there is no official word from ATCQ or Epic, but it would be nice for Tribe to have something in the catalogue after The Love Movement and to hear the five-foot assassin rap again.
