Moses Sumney – “Worth It” Video
The oh-so-soulful Moses Sumney drops sparingly, but when he does it’s usually something gorgeous. “Worth It” is a song he’s been performing for a while now, but even after sitting with it a couple years it’s aged like it was dipped in a fountain of youth. Sumney floats effortlessly into his textured falsetto to express his vulnerability in wondering if he’s worthy of love and affection. As for the Allie Avital-directed clip, it’s just as raw and bare: a tasteful play of light and shadow with Sumney and a woman’s skin basking in the light as the contours of their bodies flex and twitch to the song’s knocking drums. It’s beautiful in its simplicity. Watch.
