Tyler, The Creator Is Getting His Own Viceland TV Series
Tyler The Creator already helmed a TV show for three seasons with his Odd Future sketch show Loiter Squad, which aired on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, and it looks like he’s getting ready to launch another television venture. The Hollywood Reporter says that VICE’s new cable network Viceland is developing a series with Tyler “based on a show from the rapper’s Golf Media App.” They offer no further detail than that, but original programming on the app includes programs like The Greatest Cooking Show Of All Time and animated series The Jellies.
Most recently, the rapper changed his @fucktyler Twitter handle to simply @tylerthecreator in order to better contact corporations, though this new show presumably has nothing to do with that because Viceland’s president of programming says the network has “no rules.”
Viceland also ordered a late-night series from internet personalities and Bodega Boys hosts Desus and Mero.
