Earlier this year, the fingerpicking guitar virtuoso William Tyler released the shatteringly lovely instrumental LP American Country, a sort of concept-album ode to the disappearing parts of American culture. In making the video for "Highway Anxiety," the album's nine-minute opener, Tyler and his director sister Elise went on a four-day road trip from their Nashville home to California. The collage-style clip blurs together images of America's deserts and roadways and ghost towns. Watch it below, via Rolling Stone.
