ESP Ohio – “Lithuanian Bombshells”

Robert Pollard has kept active since sort of re-rebooting Guided By Voices with Doug Gillard. GBV dropped their latest album, Please Be Honest, this past spring, and Pollard also created a new band, ESP Ohio, again with Gillard. We've already heard the band's debut single, "Royal Cyclopean," and today they follow up with "Lithuanian Bombshells." It's a fuzzy, textured jam session with layers of guitars piled on top of each other and intricate, rolling drum transitions giving way to bright melodies. Listen.
