Justin Timberlake Concert Film By Jonathan Demme Coming To Netflix
Jonathan Demme directed the greatest concert film of all time, Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense. OK, some folks would stump for Martin Scorsese’s The Last Waltz, but the point is Demme — who also directed Neil Young: Heart Of Gold — knows what he’s doing when it comes to capturing the live music experience vividly on film. So it’s intriguing to learn that he traveled to Vegas to film the final show of Justin Timberlake’s mammoth tour in support of The 20/20 Experience at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Justin Timberlake And The Tennessee Kids premieres on Netflix 10/12 after premiering next week at the Toronto Film Festival. You can watch the trailer below.
This was a fantastic tour, so the movie is worth checking out even though Timberlake used a #TimberlakeAndChill hashtag to promote it.
