Lil Wayne took to social media to vent some frustrations last week, tweeting “I AM NOW DEFENSELESS AND mentally DEFEATED & I leave gracefully and thankful I luh my fanz but I’m dun.” Many took that as Wayne announcing his impending retirement, and messages of support poured in from everyone from Kendrick Lamar to recent adversary Young Thug. Aside from a subsequent tweet reading “I’m good y’all don’t trip,” Wayne still hasn’t clarified his remarks. But he’s clearly not in retirement yet, as he’s just shared a new song as yet another Tidal exclusive.
