John Legend is too good of a singer to be lip-syncing anything, and yet he took part in last night’s all-star episode of Lip Sync Battle, the Spike TV show that his wife Chrissy Teigen co-hosts. Legend took part alongside fellow guests Terry Crews, Olivia Munn, and Michael Phelps, and he put in a pretty elaborate production, impersonating his “Green Light” collaborator André 3000 and recreating OutKast’s iconic “Hey Ya!” video as much as he possibly could within the confines of the show’s studio. For some reason, he also had Stevie Wonder — who presumably has never seen the “Hey Ya” video — sitting in on pianos. You can watch the silliness unfold below.
