Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong stars in the forthcoming film Ordinary World, formerly titled Geezer. Armstrong plays an aging punk who doesn’t really want to get his shit together and like, behave as an adult, even though he has a wife and a kid and a boring non-musical job, etc. It’s a classic heartwarming, coming-of-middle-age story. Armstrong plays himself in This Is 40, but Ordinary People marks his first acting role in a feature-length film. Fred Armisen, Judy Greer, Selma Blair, and Chris Messina also star.
