Portland-born, LA-based artist Alexandra Savior makes an evocative brand of pop pulsing with a darkly shaded energy. The 21-year-old only has two singles to her name, but she exudes a comfort and confidence elusive to many. She dropped her James Ford and Alex Turner co-produced second single "M.T.M.E." just over a week ago, and today it receives a self-directed visual treatment. The song is a shadowy, rhymthic assault, with infectious bass strums and bright organ bolstering Savior's sultry, cutting vocals. As for the matching clip, it's a trippy, fast-paced blend of polychrome, hallucinatory, eerie imagery that perfectly matches the ghostly quality of the song. Watch.
