Legacy rap trio De La Soul dropped their crowdfunded album And The Anonymous Nobody almost exactly a month ago. It's a varied album that defies the stereotype that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. One of the most far-flung songs of the collection is "Memory Of" featuring slept-on/forgotten UK singer Estelle and the legendary beatsmith Pete Rock. De La were the musical guests on The Tonight Show and they performed the song with Estelle plus some help from fellow legends the Roots and a small string section. The group turned in a smooth performance in their element, sounding silky over the orchestral arrangement. Check it out below.
