Run For Cover Records Announces Inaugural Something In The Way Fest Featuring Alex G, Elvis Depressedly, More
Run For Cover Records has been around since 2004, but it seems like in the past few years the Boston-based label has reached another level. We named them one of the breakout indie labels of 2014, and the two years since have proven their cultural importance and musical dominance.
On 12/14, Run For Cover (alongside Fred Perry) are throwing the inaugural Something In The Way Festival at Webster Hall in New York City, and the lineup includes some of the best of the RFC roster and its affiliates: Alex G, Elvis Depressedly, Teen Suicide, Nicole Dollanganger, Crying, Basement, Citizen, and Turnover are all confirmed to play, and there are a few special guests that will be announced at a later date. In addition, Basement, Citizen, and Turnover will play a special pre-show the night before (12/13) at the Royale in Boston.
Tickets for the festival go on sale this Friday (9/30) at noon EST on their official website.
