Last year, Lower Dens covered Hall & Oates’ 1982 hit “Maneater” for a SiriusXMU live in-studio session, and the track has consistently popped up in the Baltimore band’s sets since then. Now, they’ve recorded a studio version of the cover for the upcoming charity album The Time Is Now, whose proceeds go to amfAR. (The upcoming compilation also features tracks from Phantogram, Metric, Yuna, and Scarlett Johansson’s new band.) Listen to Lower Dens’ cover below.
