A week after sharing the Daft Punk collaboration “Starboy” and just a day after dropping the “Starboy” video, the Weeknd is back with another single from the album he’s releasing on Black Friday. “False Alarm” reflects some of the ’80s underground rock influences Abel Tesfaye mentioned in an interview earlier this month. It’s frantic and paranoid and sneakily catchy, and I’m eager to see him perform it on Saturday Night Live this weeknd. Listen below.
