Forth Wanderers – “Know Better”
Montclair, NJ quintet Forth Wanderers are set to drop their Slop EP next month. We’ve already heard the title track and received a matching set of visuals for it. Today, they share the followup “Know Better.” The young DIYers bring deadpan but penetrating sentiment bolstered by a deft control of pacing, temperament, and fuzz. Rhythmic sections glide in and out of controlled distortion as Ava Trilling sings some redolent laments. She cuts deep with “I hope one day you’ll see, just what you’ve done to me.” The Slop EP is shaping up nicely. Listen.
The Slop EP is out 11/11 via Father/Daughter in the US and House Anxiety & Marathon Artists in the UK. Pre-order it physically here and digitally here.
