The Killers’ Springsteen-addled sophomore album Sam’s Town just turned 10, and the band celebrated its big anniversary with a special show last week. They’ve also shared “Peace Of Mind,” a grand, sweeping ballad from the sessions that produced the album. Hearing a song like this for the first time in 2016 is a striking experience. It’s not a great song, but we just don’t hear rock bands going for it like this anymore. Whether or not they connected, they were swinging for the far outside wall. Check it out below.
