Although industry forecasters predicted that Bon Iver would score their first ever #1 album with 22, A Million, Billboard reports that Solange's new one A Seat At The Table has just barely edged it out to claim the top spot, moving 72,000 equivalent album units to Bon Iver's 71,000. Of those 72,000, 46,000 were traditional album sales. (Bon Iver actually did better in traditional album sales, selling 58,000 copies.) So: Sorry Justin Vernon, and congrats to Solange on her first #1 album!
