Crying – “There Was A Door”
Crying’s Beyond The Fleeting Gales is out this Friday, which is great because the world will soon behold its glory. In the meantime, you get to preview one more song following “Wool In The Wash,” “Revive,” and last year’s titanic “Patriot.” Like those songs, “There Was A Door” plays around with ’80s arena-rock tropes, running them through the same geek-rock filters that inspired Crying’s early chiptune endeavors. And once again the results are splendid, exploding with gnarly distorted guitar detonations, synthesizer trills, and heavenward vocal runs. Listen below.
Beyond The Fleeting Gales is out 10/14 on Run For Cover. Pre-order it here.
