Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg just sparked controversy by calling NFL player Colin Kaepernick and other athletes' decision to kneel during the national anthem as a protest against police brutality "dumb and disrespectful." She certainly didn't help matters by adding "If they want to be stupid, there's no law that should be preventative," and Ne-Yo wants you to know that he is absolutely not here for it.

When informed of Ginsburg's comments by TMZ, Ne-Yo responded, "She's right. There [are] no rules to stop people from being stupid. The same way there are no rules to stop her from saying the dumb shit she just said."

"I 100% stand by him," he added. "You can't pledge allegiance to a country that's not pledging allegiance to you. It's as simple as that. With everything that's going on, with all the death that have been videotaped, and people are getting away with it like it ain't nothing...Ruth: Come on, you're a Supreme Court justice. I expected better."
