Lil Wayne might not know who Donald Trump is. Weezy just released his new prison memoir Gone ‘Til November, and today, following a book signing in Manhattan, the rapper sat down for an interview with The New York Times, where he revealed just how blissfully ignorant he is of current events.

First, when asked if he listens to any young rappers like Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Lil Wayne replied, “I swear to God I didn’t know you were saying people’s names just now, so that should probably answer that question. I just do my own thing.” And when asked about the reality TV he watched while in jail and whether he has any words for Celebrity Apprentice host/nightmarish presidential candidate Donald Trump, Wayne just laughed and said, “Who’s that?”

Sure, he could be joking. But also, this is Lil Wayne we’re talking about. He might not be joking.
