Charli XCX Teases Lil Yachty Collab “After The Afterparty”
Charli XCX’s third album is imminent, and it looks like we’ll be getting our first single from it at the end of the month. As Idolator points out, she’s been teasing it on Twitter throughout the week, and an iTunes pre-order listing shows that it’s called “After The Afterparty,” features Lil Yachty, and is due out on 10/28. Charli primarily worked with SOPHIE and Stargate on the new album, as she revealed in her recent Fader cover story, so chances are that it’s produced by one or both of them. Lorde “can’t bloody wait,” and neither can we. Here’s the new single described in emoji form, which comes a close second to actually hearing it, I guess:
