The Good Life – “Are You Afraid Of Dying?”
Indie-rock vets the Good Life have released “Are You Afraid of Dying?”, a track recorded during the sessions for their most recent album, 2015’s Everybody’s Coming Down. Frontman Tim Kasher (also known for Cursive) cuts to the chase with blunt observations about how we perceive death; he’s right when he concludes his piece with “No one thinks they’re really gonna die,” assisted by the most wonderful Oasis-esque delivery. As for the rest of the band, no one else seems quite as perturbed, creating a swift and sweet-sounding backdrop (and a mental image of the “This Is Fine” dog) for Kasher. It’s a little unsettling, but mostly fun — just in time for Halloween. Check it out below.
