Honeyblood – “Sea Hearts” Video
Scottish punk duo Honeyblood had a string of buzz-inducing one-offs following their 2014 self-titled debut, and they’re ready to follow up that excellent effort with their next album, Babes Never Die, at the end of the month. An early foray into their sophomore go-round was the playful yet cutting “Sea Hearts.” Today it gets a visual accompaniment via Spin.
In the Thomas James-directed clip, the band plays a chill, weird masquerade party where a guy hooks up with a creature disguised as a beautiful girl. It’s playful, but ripe with subtle commentary, just like the song. Check it out.
