Sky Ferreira Cast In Movie About Norwegian Black Metal Scene

Sky Ferreira has been cast in Jonas Akerlund's forthcoming film Lords Of Chaos -- starring Rory Culkin and Caleb Landry Jones -- which was based on Michael Moynihan and Didrik Soderlind's book of the same name. The nonfiction work focuses on the murder of Mayhem guitarist Øystein “Euronymous” Aarseth by his peer (and sometimes bandmate) Varg Vikernes of Burzum. The film is in pre-production, and it's not clear who Ferreira will play. According to Metal Injection, Insurgent Media's Ezna Sands says that the film will be "a kind of Trainspotting for the millennial generation."
