Azealia Banks Shares An Apology Letter To Zayn
Azealia Banks has been in the news a lot this week following a bizarre altercation at a hotel party thrown by Russell Crowe. That was just the latest in a long series of controversies centered around the rapper, and now she’s returned to Instagram to address a different one.
Banks’ Twitter account was suspended back in May after she launched into a racist and homophobic tirade directed at former One Direction member Zayn Malik, and now she’s issued an extensive apology for her actions. “There are no words that can fully express how sorry I am. Recent events have taught me the importance of taking accountability for one’s actions. I want and need to say I am sorry, I was wrong,” she writes. Read her full letter below.
We’ve heard similar things from her before, but hopefully this is a real sign that she’s actually doing better and/or getting the help she needs.
