Influential hip-hop duo Eric B and Rakim split up in 1993 after the release of 1992'sDon't Sweat The Technique. But now, after 23 years and several solo albums, they're getting back together. The DJ and MC announced the news on Twitter this week, proposing Eric B as a new presidential candidate and teasing a reunion tour. Louis "Uncle Louie" Gregory, a representative for the group, has confirmed the news to Stereogum, writing, "The upcoming tour is set to kick off very soon. The tour, which will be worldwide, will hit 36 countries over 12 months and bring the legendary duo face to face with over one million fans. Eric B and Rakim are...back by popular demand."
