The Decemberists’ fourth album, The Crane Wife, turned 10 a few weeks ago, and the band has just announced a special anniversary edition to commemorate their major label debut. It will include five LPs — two featuring the original album and three with B-sides, bonus tracks, outtakes, alternate versions, and acoustic demos — and a Blu-Ray containing live footage shot for NPR from a 2006 concert at Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club. A 20-page booklet will also be included with liner notes from Rolling Stone senior editor David Fricke and an essay from longtime fan and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.
