Sporting Life is the producer behind NY rap group Ratking. He’s set to release the third and final part of his Slam Dunk EP trilogy later this year after dropping the second installment less than a month ago. An early taste of the third go-round is “Nothing To Hide” featuring his Ratking brethren Wiki and Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange via Pitchfork. We already know Wiki’s signature gap tooth lisp meshes with the producers smartly updated boom bap smoothly, but it turns out Hynes’ hazed out, tender, ’80s-vibing vocals do too. Hynes fulfills hook duties while Wiki weaves intricate rhymes in and out of Sport’s gumbo of trap and boom bap sonics. Check it out.
