Lady Gaga will play Donatella Versace in the third season of American Crime Story, which will focus on the 1997 murder of Gianni Versace by Andrew Cunanan. Per US Weekly, the show will start filming early next year concurrently with the second season following the show's very successful first iteration, The People v. O. J. Simpson. Gaga has, of course, worked with the show's executive producer Ryan Murphy before, appearing on two seasons of American Horror Story and having two episodes of Glee dedicated to her music. No premiere date for the series has been announced yet.
