Voracious selfie taker Michael Stipe sat down for a rare interview with Alec Baldwin for his WNYC show Here’s The Thing. (He also recently talked to The Guardian for Out Of Time’s 25th anniversary.) They discuss his long history with music, what he’s been up to since R.E.M. disbanded in 2011, and calls Baldwin out as part of the problem “creating this monster” that is Donald Trump for his appearance on SNL as the republican presidential candidate.
