Stream His Name Is Alive Patterns Of Light
Detroit indie vets His Name Is Alive have been doing their thing for over 25 years now. Since debuting on 4AD in 1990 the quartet has brought technical prowess and subtle innovation to their music with unconventional instrumentation like Moogs, talkbox, mellotron, and gongs. They quietly released their latest album Patterns Of Light this past Friday, and though it was lost in the shadow that A Tribe Called Quest cast on everything this weekend, it’s another stellar collection of songs. Their experience shows in winding in and out of electronic vibes, anthemic rock, complete shredding, and melding them all together for just the right amount of controlled chaos. Don’t sleep on this one. Check it out below.
