Donald Trump isn’t the only person meeting with The New York Times this week, and it’s pretty much guaranteed that this other meeting went better. Erykah Badu stopped by the NYT yesterday to perform a medley of songs spanning pretty much her entire career, looking eccentrically swaggy as usual in a top hat, nose embellishment, gold floss hanging from her teeth, and more chains than most people have in their entire jewelry collection. She’s sat in front of an MPC, and although she didn’t use it, Ms. Badoula Oblongata still came across like mystical royalty breezing through her songs.
