Mozart’s Sister – “Angel” Video
Last month, Mozart’s Sister — Caila Thompson-Hannant’s solo electronic project — put out a cassette featuring two tracks, “Eternally Girl” and “Angel,” which, as it turns out, was a precursor to her second full-length album, Field Of Love, which is coming out early next year. To mark that announcement, she’s shared an evocative new video for “Angel,” which sees the Canadian musician adopt an increasingly frantic demeanor in a variety of otherwordly-looking locales, all converging in an urgent way. “We chose to explore the idea of a woman who is facing the versions of herself, reliving memories and emotions from alternate realities,” she explained to The Fader, who premiered the video. It was co-directed by Clayton Beugeling and Elijah Herron. Watch below.
