This song is appropriately titled on a couple of levels because this is certainly one of the stranger team-ups we’ve seen in a while, and it also refers to Paul Simon’s latest album Stranger To Stranger. The Social Experiment members and frequent Chance The Rapper collaborators Nico Segal (formerly Donnie Trumpet) and Nate Fox have fused album tracks “The Clock” and “The Werewolf” together and flipped them into an original track, “Stranger.”

Segal and Fox inject some of their signature exploration of pop, jazz, gospel, and soul elements into the seminal singer-songwriter’s original tunes while taking elements from them as well. It’s an unlikely combination, but it wanders smoothly through different genres with Simon’s silky tenor melding everything together seamlessly. Check it out below.
