Grandaddy – “A Lost Machine”
Early next year, reunited psych-pop wonder-conjurers Grandaddy will release Last Place, their first new album in 11 years, and we’ve already posted two early songs, “Way We Won’t” and “Clear Your History.” This morning, they’ve shared a new song. “A Lost Machine,” like so many other Grandaddy songs, is built around digital-era anxiety, and it’s built around a stately piano and Jason Lytle’s fragile falsetto. It also has a mysterious video full of TV static and forest ghosts. Check it out below.
Last Place is out 3/3 on 30th Century.
