The ridiculously popular young rapper Lil Uzi Vert comes from Philadelphia, a city with a deep culture of street dirtbiking. But Uzi's passion for dirtbiking has reportedly gotten him into some trouble, especially after he led Atlanta police on a motor-vehicle chase on Thursday night.

TMZ reports that Uzi and a friend were dirtbiking through Atlanta that night and obeying basically zero traffic laws. They rode at night, with no helmets or lights. They rode the wrong way down a one-way street. They drove on a sidewalk. And they veered across lanes of traffic without signaling.

All of this happened while Atlanta police were chasing Uzi, who finally skidded out on his bike and attempted to run away on foot. It didn't work. The police arrested Uzi and his friend, charging them with obstruction, reckless driving, driving without a license, and various other traffic offenses. Uzi is now free on a $6,500 bond, and somehow, this story is way more Philadelphia than any of Uzi's actual music.
