The Ally Coalition Talent Show is a benefit concert put on by Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff in support of homeless LGBTQ youth. Last night was the third annual show at Webster Hall in NYC, and an array of actors, comedians, and musicians convened to lend their voices for the cause with inspirational speeches, standup comedy routines, and songs. Bleachers, Lorde, Carly Rae Jepsen, Charli XCX, Lauren Mayberry of CHVRCHES, Hasan Minhaj, Mike Birbiglia, Jordan Carlos, and Antonoff’s fun. bandmate Andrew Dost all took the stage throughout the night. Lorde wasn’t listed as part of the lineup, but she surprised the audience with a Robyn cover. Lauren Mayberry covered Katy Perry’s “Firework.” Carly Rae Jepsen performed an acoustic version of “Run Away With Me.” Charli XCX performed an acoustic version of “Need Ur Luv.” Then everyone gathered on stage to cover Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way.” Watch fan footage below.
