Kingdom – “Tears In The Club”
LA-based, NY-bred DJ/producer Kingdom is best known as the man sculpting the soundscapes for Kelela and Dawn Richard, among others, but he’s yet to drop his own album. That is about to change with the impending Tears In The Club, which features features many talented songstresses like SZA and Syd The Kyd of the Internet. We’ve already heard the Syd-assisted single “Nothin,” and today he shares the title track as a followup. “Tears In The Club” is a low end grumbler driven by glitching piano, synth and atmospheric sweeps, dry percussion, and quick hits of random sounds that comes together as a sort of ambient orchestral movement. Check it out below.
