Mike Judge To Take On Country Music In Cinemax’s First Original Comedy Series

Mike Judge, creator of Beavis And Butt-Head and co-creator of Silicon Valley and King Of The Hill, has a new TV show in the works. Deadline reports that Mike Judge Presents: Tales From The Tour Bus, a half-hour animated comedy about some of country music's most eccentric characters, has just been picked up by HBO sister network Cinemax. Co-created by Judge, Richard Mullins, and The Last Ride co-writer Dub Cornett, the show will be Cinemax's first original comedy series. The network has ordered eight episodes, with the first set to premiere later this year.
