Interpol Announce Turn On The Bright Lights 15th Anniversary Tour
In case you’re wondering exactly how old and decrepit you’ve become, Interpol’s debut album Turn On The Bright Lights came out in 2002, which was 15 years ago. Paul Banks and company will be heading out on tour this year in honor of the album’s quinceañera, so take your finest black suit to the dry cleaners, try to track down your old coke dealer, and get stoked to rock out to “Obstacle 1″ in concert one more time before you die. They’ve only announced European dates so far, but they’re promising more to come. In the meantime, a fan presale begins here Wednesday at 9AM GMT, with public sales beginning Friday.
