The Nashville psych-rockers Promised Land Sound impressed us mightily with their 2015 album For Use And Delight, and they've just released their first song since that album dropped. The band recorded the standalone single "By The Rain" with Wilco multi-instrumentalist Pat Sansone and MGMT collaborator Billy Bennett. It's a piece of beautifully zoned-out space-country, and you can stream it below.
