We now confront a horrifying new reality: Children love EDM. The inarguable evidence: The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards now has a Favorite DJ/EDM Artist category. As Variety reports, the Kids Choice Awards nominations have just been announced, and that EDM category is one of nine new ones, which includes Favorite Music Video, as well as things like Most Wanted Pet, Favorite Frienemies, and #Squad. The children of American will have to choose from this list of EDM artists: Martin Garrix, Calvin Harris, Major Lazer, Skrillex, DJ Snake, and Zedd.
The ceremony airs 3/11, and John Cena will host. Marshmello was robbed.
