Last year, country star Miranda Lambert released the great breakup-themed double-album The Weight Of These Wings. And today, she’s come out with a video for its most immediately charming song “We Should Be Friends,” on which she lists all the qualities she likes in people: “If you use alcohol as a sedative / And bless your heart as a negative…” She played the song on Seth Meyers in December, and now she’s got a video for it. The whole thing takes place in one of those bright, colorful beauty shops that only seem to exist in ’80s movies. Trey Fanjoy directs, and it’s a lot of fun. Check it out below.
