St. Vincent is going to be Record Store Day’s 2017 celebrity ambassador, a role previously occupied by Metallica in 2016 and Dave Grohl in 2015. She announced the news in a silly Funny Or Die video in which her manager tells her that she’s going to be the ambassador of a tiny Russian island called Recorstorda, and prepares herself for that before walking into a record shop to some very surprised customers.
