Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Nathan Salsburg — a guitarist and curator of the Alan Lomax Archive who tours with Joan Shelley’s band — will release a collaborative EP as part of Record Store Day 2017. The EP includes three songs, and the duo shared one of them today. “Wallins Creek Girls” is one of many folk songs Lomax recorded in the American South and it’s archived in the Library Of Congress as part of the Alan and Elizabeth Lomax Kentucky collection.
