Aye Nako – “Nightcrawler” Video
Brooklyn DIY punks Aye Nako are getting ready to release their new album Silver Haze next week, and they’ve already shared their songs “Particle Mace” and “Spare Me.” Today, they unveil their video for the new song “Nightcrawler,” which seems to have nothing to do with the Jake Gyllenhaal tabloid-reporter movie or the teleporting X-Man. It’s a noisy but melodic rocker, and in director Clyde Petersen’s video, the band members eat shrooms on the subway and trip balls at Coney Island, with animated squiggles representing their visions. This seems like a terrifying place to be high, but what do I know. Watch the video below, via Afropunk.
Silver Haze is out 4/7 on Don Giovanni.
